The bills of Co-op consumers participating in Operation Round Up are rounded up to the next highest dollar each month. The extra cents collected from each consumer go into the Little River Electric Trust. The average consumer contributes approximately $6 a year. If all Little River Electric consumers joined in, we could Round Up more than $50,000 a year. Operation RoundUp funds stay in the Anderson, Abbeville, McCormick and Greenwood areas and are used only for food, shelter, clothing, health care or education. Political campaigns and issues will not be considered for Round Up funding. If you do not currently participate in this worthy cause and would like to, please call our office at 1-800-459-2141.
